PAL Widescreen Test Pattern DVD
Need a high quality widescreen test pattern for use in a customers home, or around the workshop?
Can't afford to buy a decent widescreen test pattern generator, or feel that it's safe to leave an expensive instrument in the vehicle? Want to check that your plasma or LCD TV is setup correctly ?
The DVD contains 15 pre-recorded test patterns. We have selected the one's we feel are most useful when servicing TV and other equipment. It's ideal for setting up video projectors, as using the DVD players remote control, you can hop from track to track, selecting the required pattern each time.

Note: Pictures above are either simulated or screen shots with a low resolution camera - they are for indication purpose only and do not reflect the true quality of the images recorded on the actual DVD itself. You will be astounded at the picture quality when you see it.
(Tracks are either 10 minutes, 5 minutes, or 3 minutes in length)
All tracks have different audio tones, and track 12 carries our unique "cabinet rattler"! This is an audio sweep from 100Hz to 600Hz. If the customer complains of a strange rattle, buzz or distortion during certain speech or music passages, this track will find it ! Use with caution - it's recorded at +4dBm, so turn the volume down first.
The audio sweep can save ££££ on repeat service calls alone. Carry out the test in the customers home, and add damping felt where required until the vibration stops. No need to uplift the set to carry out a workshop repair.
The patterns on this disc were recorded in XP amd SP mode on the latest DVD recorder. They were recorded direct from source. The source are professional pattern generators, NOT a kit or other low quality product. Our generators cost in excess of £2000 each, so you can be assured of the highest picture quality. Even the audio tones are generated by Kenwood low distortion audio oscillators !
We record onto Ritek Grade A DVD-R blanks, which use the G05 dye to ensure the highest compatibility with all DVD players.
Note for the non-technical: This disc contains only PAL video content, and is not suitable for use on SECAM or NTSC products.
